Snehasish Ganguly Under Observation After Undergoing Successful Angioplasty

Cricket Affiliation of Bengal (CAB) secretary Snehasish Ganguly underwent a profitable angioplasty on the Apollo Hospital in Kolkata on Friday and is presently underneath remark. “CAB Secretary Snehasish Ganguly was in the present day admitted at 11.20 am. He was efficiently operated and is underneath remark at Apollo Hospitals,” CAB, joint secretary, Debabrata Das mentioned.


On January 12, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly’s brother consulted a health care provider and his blood exams and cardiac CT angio revealed that he wants “angioplasty to revascularise and open up the artery supplying blood to the center”.


“Snehasish Ganguly consulted Dr Saptarshi Basu and did all his blood exams and cardiac CT angio in Woodlands on Jan 12, 2021. Angio revealed Single Vessel Illness (RCA) which would require Angioplasty to revascularise and open up the artery supplying blood to the center. We received to know that Snehasish is planning to get the angioplasty completed on Jan 22, 2021 from my outdated hospital Apollo Gleneagles. Hope and pray all goes properly,” Woodlands Hospital, CEO, Rupali Basu had mentioned on Thursday.

Earlier this month, Sourav Ganguly had undergone angioplasty at Woodlands Hospital. The previous India captain was hospitalised at 1 pm on January 2 with “chest discomfort, heaviness of head, vomiting and a spell of dizziness” whereas performing bodily train within the dwelling gymnasium at round 11 am. Following this, medical doctors had performed angioplasty on him.
